My name is Angela and I am a Scottish R.B.C fan. Here is my story: In 1991 I left school and went into business for myself, running a small corner shop in Motherwell, Scotland. This shop happened to be on the road between Motherwell Football Club and their training ground. I was lucky enough to have the whole football team as customers. In August 1991 Motherwell signed a gorgeous 22 year old defender from SC Emmen. Rob Maaskant only ever made 12 appearances for Motherwell's first team. His first game being against Falkirk. He never reached his full potential as he was always played out of position. He left the club in February 1992. Sieb Dijkstra was signed not long after Rob on his recommendation. He played well in the reserves and eventually became no1 keeper. His first game as first team keeper will always be remembered as a "BAPTISM OF FIRE!". We lost 4-1 to Raith Rovers, but he was excellent. He was the best keeper I had ever seen. When he was on form he was excellent, but as I am sure you all know his mistakes are legendary. He left in 1994. Both guys came into the shop, so I know them quite well. Sieb was the nicest, friendliest guy you could meet. Affectionately known as the 70's porn star, the kids loved him and he was seen almost daily in the shop. Rob was a less frequent customer and had the ability to make me stop what I was doing and turn me into a quivering wreck! He was also really friendly and had the cutest ass! (SORRY) I was devastated when he left. I tried to keep up with their careers but I lost track when Sieb went back to Holland. My curiosity got the better of me last year and I traced Sieb through the internet in the local library. Imagine my surprise when I discovered Rob was his coach! I now have my own computer and I keep a close eye on what's going on in the team. I have only seen 1 game and am eager to see more, but relegation will make that impossible. They only show Ere Divisie games here. I hope to see the team do well this season and get promotion. I hope you enjoy reading this and I hope someday I will be able to watch a game in the Vast and Goed with you all.

Angela.
